Hate, or does everyone have hatred inside of them? If you can be taught to hate, can a person that goes through life hating others, ever find redemption? Does the fact that they harbor hatred lie with them, or their parents? If the person was born into hate, raised to hate, and lived amongst those that hate, what is to be said for their subsequent actions? How can they fight or opress a feeling that has always been instilled inside of them....something that they've always known to be right, and have never been told different? I guess this is more of a question on spirituality.......

Yes, as the song says, "You have to be carefully taught . . . "
Some people learn hatred from their families. Unfortunately others learn it from their houses of worship.

However, people can change and relinquish their soul-destroying hatreds as they mature and become more informed. Part of being human is also to grow and expand our minds, at least for most of us.

You're right, part of diminishing hatred is for bigots to be told that they are NOT right. I think it is very, very difficult for someone to reach adulthood and not be presented with the message that racism, sexism, and homophobia are wrong. It is only the truly ignorant and hate-filled that choose to keep ignoring that message.

I was once honestly contemplating asking a equivalent query right here. The reply is of direction, no. If a character was once raised with all of the details of the sector we've got now learned by way of technological know-how, with out a point out of God whatever, of direction they would not out of the blue begin believing in a mystical being within the sky who created the whole lot. Arguments in contrast are noticeable, in that persons in every single place the sector have come to think in Gods in more than a few methods and instances, with out a connection to one another. But the Gods of the Egyptians, the Aborigines, and the Christians are alternatively sizeable in variations, proving that they didn't discover the identical God. And in the event you think the Christian bible, there is just one God, so all of the different conflicting religions by way of historical past have got to have undoubtedly been fallacious, regardless of relationship again previous than the Christian ideals. It might be one-of-a-kind in these days despite the fact that, due to the fact those primitive persons sought the magical to give an explanation for what they might now not, and to aid them suppose like they'd a few manipulate (or a minimum of any individual was once controlling) that which they didn't appreciate. Today we've got technological know-how, and we all know such a lot approximately the sector round us, that we do not have to throw ourselves into wild fantasies to get by way of lifestyles. Therefore, no. A character might now not discover God in the event that they have been on no account taught approximately God. (My longest reply ever, via a long way :S)

Hate is a natural emotion. There are some things worth hating, just as there are things worth loving. That isn't taught. It's a natural reaction to the world around us. It motivates us to change things that are wrong.

What can be taught and indoctrinated into people is hatred for no valid reason. Unfortunately, it is possible to instill such hatred in people. The only cure for it is education and experience.

I believe that people are taught to hate by those who raised them. Have you ever noticed that small children (around 2-6 years old) have so much love for everyone inside them. They haven't been taught to hate or to be hateful, yet. Unfortunatly, this changes as children reach the ages of 9-12.

Hate is a learned personality characteristic, unless the person sufferes from some sort of antisocial disorder. It lies with their upbringing and experiences in life. They don't attempt to oppress their hatred because, strangely, people get off on hate. Only when they are faced with a drastic set of circumstances that call them to question the subject of their hate will they be able to free themselves from it. Unfortunately, to many "haters" won't get this opportunity and will be left to live a depressing, hateful existence of bitterness and anger. Sucks to be them.

Hate is an extension of the aversive response regulated by the medulla oblongata. Therefore, hate is an innate part of being human.

However, we are conscious of this instinctive response and thus can react to it how we see fit. If we so choose, we can even work to extinct (remove) the response to a particular stimuli.

If I hate snakes, for example, I can choose to work with snakes and around snakes until I've extincted the response to wish to harm them.

The seed of hate is planted within each of us. It is a part of our sin nature. The seed of hate is cultivated in cultures where tribal, religious, rival differences occur, and culture clashes.

ALL EMOTIONS ARE WITHIN REACH OF EVERYONE.
"THE LAST SUPPER," WHEN IT WAS PAINTED, THE ARTEST WENT OUT TO FIND THE MOST PERFECT PERSON TO REPRESENT JESUS IN THE CENTER OF THE TABLE. NEXT, HE SET OUT TO FIND A TERRIBLE HATEFUL, MEAN, MURDERROUS MAN, TO REPRESENT JUDAS. THIS SEARCH TOOK SEVRAL YEARS, UNTIL THE GOVERNMENT GAVE WORD TO THE ARTIST, THEY HAD THE MAN HE WAS LOOKING FOR. SO, THE ARTIST HAD THEM BRING THE MAN TO HIM TO BE PAINTED. WHEN THE MAN (WHO WAS SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR HIS CRIMES) WAS BEING LED AWAY BY THE GUARDS AFTER HE WAS PAINTED, HE BROKE AWAY FROM THE GUARDS, GOING BACK TO THE PAINTER, SAYING, "DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ME?" THE PAINTER SAID, "NO. I NEVER KNEW YOU BEFORE YOU WERE BROUGHT HERE." THE CONDEMNED MAN REPLIED,"I AM THE ONE YOU PAINTED AS JESUS."
SO, ANYONE IS CAPABLE OF ANY MEASURE OF GOOD, OR BAD. DISCIPLINE IS THE DIFFERENCE. A DISCIPLINED MIND LIKE A MAN WHO FORGIVES A MURDERRER AFTER HIS DAUGHTER HAS BEEN KILLED. IT CAN BE DONE. WE CAN DO ALL THINGS IN JESUS, WHO STRENGTHENS US.

I believe that hate is something that is within us at birth (from Original Sin) . If it is exercised it becomes stronger. In some cases our environment contributes to it--A trainer if you will.
