Stupidest, most poorly worded question of the week

2006-10-06 08:53:54 · answer #1 · answered by In the light 3 · 1 0

We created god to deal with the mysteries of life. Science has gone a long way to explaining the mysteries of the universe, and so, fewer people now believe in 'god' as an external entity controlling everyday events.

I think it is time to put god where the eternal mystery is, which is in the life of every living creature.
Science will never know who I am, or tell me how I will live my life.
I choose to place god at the very core of who I am, and so to commune with my god, I must go inside and listen very carefully.

I no longer need to believe in a god which is an entity 'out there' somewhere. He is here in me, and I see him in each of you. He breathes me. I choose to see him in all of life on this earth.

So the answer to your question is 'True'.

Some people don't believe in God because

1. they believe that a God would not allow human suffering

2. they believe a materialist world view (in which, nothing is truely "created" but rather, everything evolved)

These two primary assertions are the basis of atheisim, and the disbelief in a God/Creator

people belive in God because he talks to us.
People don't belive in God because they have no faith and kind of block God and can't hear him.
He is calling everyone, some hear him others don't.

It takes faith and prayer.

there must be more to life than just money and technology, there must be a creator. The world couldn't have formed by itself

I'm not sure I understand your question. I don't believe in the existence of any gods because I haven't seen any evidence of any gods. I've also seen much evidence that people made up gods.

if "he" were human, he couldn't be a God. some people already do believe that Jesus was a human prophet and not a God; others believe he was God.
