I am in the US on H1b visa. I won a contest on the internet. I need to fill W9 form to get the prize. Is it ok and will it ever effect my greencard process?

No problem. Go to irs.gov print the I9 and accept your prize. One word of advise, make sure the Internet prize is legit and not a scam.

It's okay. You can earn money while on an H-1B. Remember, you will have to file your income taxes on that money.

i don't know how it is in your country, but in the US, most of the time if u win $$ online it's fake.
