yes. sometimes just watching a squirrel's antics. watching the birds try to get 50 birds in a bird bath that is only big enough for maybe 10. taking a drive with the one you love and not really going anywhere. wondering what that bright light is at 10pm and going to invest agate and find out its the moon giving you a beautiful light show.i could go on and on but you said to keep it short.

Yes. I know I won't get best answer for this--but read The Science of Happiness by ? Klein. It explains the happiness both of anticipating something good and experiencing it and is a really well presented book on the subject.

Yes, indeed. Smoke and mirrors do not equate with true happiness, these things may give us a measure of pleasure, but they do not bring us true lasting happiness. It's these "small things" in life that are more meaningful.
