17 isn't too old but I wouldn't recommend it. He is probably too mature for you though. I don't think a 14yr old girl should date anyone over 16, 15 is better though. Good luck!

I would have to go with "14 is to young to date". There is no need to rush the whole heart breaking. Talk to older friends and sisters that have dated and get advise from them. I would say to start dating at 16, by then you can drive and do more things. If the 17 year old still wants to date the 14 year old then he can Wait a couple of years. Just be friends. It doesn't have to be at a romantic level. A 16 and a 19 year old is a lot better.
Good luck!

Girl, do it like most 14 yr old girls, just enjoy being with friends, hold a boy's hand and sneak in a kiss just for the experience. Believe me, the 17 yr old won't want to date for long with a 14 year old. Just too weird.
Then, get your mind back on homework and friends for the next four years, you'll have plenty of time in college to catch up on all that.

A 14 year old girl has no business dating. If you just mean "dating" at school then no more than 1 grade between the boy and girl.

17 is too old. I wouldn't go higher than 15 for a 14 year old girl. You really don't want her in a car alone with a 16 year old boy.

Yes 17 is way too old for a 14 year old girl. I would say no older than 15years old.

Yes and no. If you look at it it's only 3 years difference. Some people's dad could be like 8 years older than mom. It's ok if both have like same interests and knows each other for years. It's not ok if you two just find each other attractive.
Talk to her parents and yours.

I would say 15 would be the maximum age. I couldn't date until I was 16 and the maximum age was 18.
