What a great question. Thanks for not being afraid to ask!
I don't think either is better. Both terrible things and wonderful things have been written and done in the name of both religions. I think the bigger questions are "what do I have that you don't and why should I care?" and "what are women allowed to think and do on their own."
Any religion that puts women in 2nd place needs work, whether Christian or Muslim, or anything else.

I was having a religion discussion earlier today. I have a slightly different take. Both Muslim and Christian faiths typically believe in one heaven, one hell, one dividing line. That's a cause for conflict right there. As a matter of faith, you believe you have the truth and the other guy's wrong, and that he/she is basically going to hell. No wonder folks get all defensive in religious discussions - they can't afford to be 'wrong'.
Now, I'm a Latter Day Saint (most refer to us as Mormons). Examine the doctrine taught about the afterlife: Degrees of Glory (see 1 Corinthians 15:41 and John 14:12). God wants to reward us all with as much as he can. Even the least degree is better than life here on Earth - after all, we're still talking about a degree of GLORY. (The kicker here is the wailing and gnashing of teeth knowing that you could have had more if you'd only listened and followed Christ).
Now, imagine that was the baseline Christian + Muslim belief (as opposed to the notion that Paradise is an exclusive club with bouncers all too happy to kick you out!) Folks still argue about what's right and what's wrong, but can you see how it would reduce conflict and promote understanding of others?

Christians believe in God who is all forgiving and loving. He is just and fair. No matter who you are or what you have done, He still loves you and wants you to be with Him.
I'm not sure about allah, but I think Muslims believe in a harsh god. It's all in your works and what you do, not who you are and that you were created for a purpose to love God and serve him and love your neighbor. Muslims want to destroy anything that opposes their belief.
I have to say, that Christians are not what you should look at when choosing what to believe. They are sinners and make mistakes. It's just that they have been forgiven and have given their life to Jesus to grow and change. Change takes time and people still sin. Some people say they are Christians but are not really or just haven't followed God's heart. No one is perfect. That is why we need God. Only He can satisfy and help you feel whole inside.
I am a Christian, and not the typical Christian that is stereotyped by the media and movies. I love God with my whole heart and know that He is real. He has changed my life tremendously through His gentle spirit and His gifts in my life. Our purpose is to love Him and to love our neighbors as ourselves. If everyone did that then we would have peace. However, people are prideful. I think that is the problem. We all want to be number one and look out for our own intrests all the time. It's truly hard to be completely selfless all the time. With God's reminder that we are to look out for each other and show love it makes the world more pleasant to be in. Eveyone wants to feel loved by others. Only God can provide that love 100% of the time. People will always fail.
Hope this helps.

Christian or Muslim....
My mother is a converted Muslim....others in my family are Christians... still others catholic.
My mother is raising my little brother to be a Muslim. Watching him grow up in a different environment then I was raised, as a christian, is really hard.
He thinks that I'm going to hell because I don't wear dresses I wear pants, and pants are Mens' clothing. He is 8 years old now and has grown up this way as long as he can remember. I have never in my life witnessed a child treat their parents as badly as that boy does. He thinks hes better because he is a boy, and because my mom is a woman he can walk all over her. If I had to choose between...
Christian or Muslim.......
Christian wins!
I don't think my little brother will ever thrive in this world because he has extremely unrealistic view on life... thinking women are beneath men, they are not allowed to cut their hair, not allowed to be seen by other men unless they are direct family, women should wait on men because men are the providers. I see my mother get walked on.....see her cry, and hurt because she feels unappreciated.
I pick christian.

I wouldn't tell you no different Muslims are the best, which is what I am and I'm proud to be a young African-American Muslim woman.See even when you are in need, church people act like they want to help you at times and then you got Hypocrite, but with a Muslim if you need something you got it,if we have it we can't lie and say we don't if we do,that doesn't please Allah. And you want to do what pleases Allah. So figure it out and see what it is what you want to do,and don't let people fill your head up with non-sense about Muslims cuz they don't know until they try.And all Muslims are not the same,Allah is the greatest in Arabic(Allah Hu Ak Bar).I will make Dua's for you that means prayer.Good Luck

Whether your a muslim or christian does not really matter. As all faiths teach good. The only thing is opinion which makes people think they are better than the other. Also bad influences which prvoking others thinking this way.

religion is always a terrible thing to bring up, especially on the internet, there are so many critical people in the world that that is something you should research on.I myself am a Christian and would not trade anything in the world to be different.I think you should maybe read both bibles,do some research and then go from there, its rather hard to answer this question considering everone has there own oppinion.

I prefer the Christian view although I refuse the church social scene and the false holy holy dung.
The muslim (?) life style (?) religion has been jammed in our face for more than 5 years now.
I am being honest.
I have no real concern for them. America has opened its door for all of my 60+ years and only just recently (10+)
I am shown the maniacal, hysterical, subservient, slave like worship, ridiculous dress code and diet restrictions.
Sorry! I know it is by faith they accept these codes. Just the same as (names ? jones town ? waco? heavens gate ?) all practice don't think, , , do as your told > > to total denial of your intelligence. So what do you mean BETTER?
I have the best.

As a Christian, I'd be compelled to say Christian....actually there's not an awful lot of difference when you look at the basic beliefs....both have guys who said "hey, lets be nice to each other..." Our guy got nailed to a tree for it, and their's didn't (I'm assuming, there, I don't know). Its better to lead a life you can be proud of, and in a lot of ways who you believe in while you do it is irrelevant.
