Why do you need to teach them about Christianity? Why don't you let them teach you what they believe? Are you a missionary? If so, then just go and help, and if they want your faith they'll ask for it.

Sir/Madam, not to be discouraging or disparaging, but assuming you are a born again, spirit controlled Christian:
(i) You will be shocked that the brand of Christianity in Kenya is closer to early christian and new testament christianity than the America/Western brand.
(ii) You will be surprised that what the media has been showing you about kenya and Africa is not the whole truth
(iii) You may be tempted to stay on and live there!
(iii)All the same, you will be the better of if
(a) you encourage the youth(who are born again) to believe they can do anything they set their hearts on
(b) You witness to the youth( who are not born again) and tell them that true prosperity is spiritual and external properity is a good add on
(c) you use the opportunity to aslo learn from kenyan christians(the true ones, not the ones just seeking $$) and the power there is in christ.

Now you probably wont like this:

if you have the Spirit and walk after the Spirit( spirit controlled), you should not be asking internet folks this, ask the Spirit. If he is sending you, He should tell you what he wants you to teach/preach.

With all the problems with Aids, I would teach them about the sanctity of sex within a marriage situation and how as Christians we hold the union of husband and (only one) wife above all others. Also I think I would teach about prayer to our Father. Especially "The Our Father". Tell them to pray this everyday as Jesus taught us. He can not hear someone pray this day after day and not supply them with what they need both materially and spiritually.

Perhaps you're the one who will learn about Christianity! You'll find them preaching on every street corner! You'll have better luck viewing animals in the game parks!

wqhy do you feel the need to teach them anything? They have gotten along this far without God's influence. Do you think that they are going to be something different then what they are just because you go and teach them about God?

I think it would be more Christian to go with a mind open and ready to learn about the culture you're visiting, before you impose your upon it.

get the wordless book, and if you don't know their language, get an interpreter and do skits and have the interpreter narrarate it, that would be the easiest way to teach them about Christ
