hi. im a freshman in highschool, and i asked this boy out 2 weeks ago. the thing is, i barely ever see him during school and we dont really make plans after school or anything. hes also kinda shy, like he doesnt talk that much. i always have to force myself to think of something to talk about. i dont like this! i feel bad about wanting to break up since IM the one who asked him out, but what should i do? i mean, what should i say to him? should i do it in person? help! thanks =)

The best thing to do is tell him as soon as possible. Since your not happy and your much too young to be unhappy. You could just tell him you feel like your too young to be serious right now, especially since you can barely see each other. Tell him you think he's great and maybe you'll see each other around once and a while or something nice. Then leave it at that.

It kind of sounds like you two aren't really going out anyway. If I were you I would write him a note and tell him that you have to much going on in your life right now to have a boyfriend and you would just like to be friends. Then tell him that he can call you if he wants to talk about it. Then at least you are giving him the chance to talk to you about it. Good Luck!

The best thing that I would do if I care for him is to ask him if he still wants to be with me. Then depending on what he tells me I will make my decision on whether to stay whit him and give him another try or brake up for good.If you don't like him anymore then I would just tell him that I don't think our relation is working out. Think before you talk is the best thing you can do. Good luck.

Just proceed as if you were single then. Maybe he will stand up for himself. Just sit back and do what you do and let h im make the moves. Make plans with other people to fill in your time.

in person is always the most polite way to do this. and just tell him your reasons and always be polite while addressing them. if you still want to be friends, let him know he'd make a great friend and you'd have more fun just being friends than in a relationship.

You're too young for a "boyfriend". Break up with him, concentrate on getting into college where you will meet a real man.

Tell him exactly what you told us. Then tell him you feel bad about it, but you're breaking up with him. Wish him well and say goodbye.
