Flirting through aggression??????????????
My best friend is always hitting me playfully. She is a girl, I'm a guy, we are 15, and people keep saying she is flirting. Today, for example, she just hit me in the head with a school book (lol) for no reason. We have known each other for 2 years. First off, do you think this actually is her way of flirting? She doesn't do it to other people. And also, what should I do back? Should I also playfully mess around with her?

Now I am only 12 and your 15 kinda theres an age difference, so If you dont take my advice thats fine. But I give ppl good advice(lol)! Anyway it depends on how long shes been hittin you! 2 weeks, do something. Play around a little...not serious but just a little! Then after about 4 weeks or maybe 3 ask her out! If she says no sorry! Thats why I say give it more time. Now dont hit her like every 10 minutes, she might think ur wierd. So the only thing I can say it GOOD LUCK!

I personally think that she likes you alot. And yes she is flirting with you. Well you dont want to jump in and just kiss her because that may scare her away. Maybe you can ask her to go to a movie and see how things go. And try kissing her there. Good Luck with you though. I already know you are not going to take my advice.

As weird as it is, people do act this way as a means of flirtation. She is trying like mad to get your attention, and not necessarily in the same manner back from you. Why not try asking her out on a date and see what happens? Oh.. make sure you've got your goalie mask on first

sure play back with her but be careful not to really hurt her. it could be a way of flirting, do you like her more that a friend? if you do ask her out. just remeber your friendship will never be the same after you date. good luck

It depends on if you like her too. I think if she's only acting that way to you that she is interested in more than friendship -- it is a way of flirting (for a teenager anyway)....

yup, sounds like she is flirting........ask her.....no better way than a direct approach......or ask one of your friends to ask her if she likes you......or next time she hits you, playfully tell her," hit me again, and im going to throw you on the floor and spank you!"
see what she does....
good luck!!!

Tell her to knock the crap off that you are not her punching bag and that if she's got feelings for you that she needs to show them in a more mature way.

Well, it sounds like she likes you, and if you like her, you should probably tell her that she should stop hitting people cause its not nice and pull her into your arms, that should lead to something.
