The out-laws
Monster-in-law
By their names. You already hae parents, I don't agree with calling them mom and dad. The only thing my outlaws and I have in common is love for their son. I love them don't get me wrong, but we don't see eye to eye.
"the evils"...lol good one.

First let me say I have two sons-in-law and they both adore me, or maybe its my pot roast. In any event one of them, after seven years, has never addressed me by name, any name, they lived with us for a year while getting their down payment for a house together and never called me by name. It got to be a joke, but you could see he was clearly uncomfortable with it. Now of course, he just calls me Grandma, all the time, not just when the kids are around.
My other son-in-law, calls me by my first name. That's fine with me too
I called my in-laws by their first name, and they had no problem with that.
If you are from the South, they sometimes use Mother Lastname. It seems you know what you want to call them, you just don't like them, but mom and dad aren't necessary.

Whatever you do don't call them mom and dad that is what they want. Just call them by there first names! I do and it pisses my mother in law off it is sooooo funny! I will never and I say never give her the pleasure of hearing me say she is my mom ♥ Call me evil, but I think it is their job to torture us!

I call my in-laws by their first names. My wife wanted me to call them Mom and Dad, but my Dad died when I was seven and I just can't call another man Dad considering I find that to be disrespectful to my Dad's memory.

You don't HAVE to call them Mom & Dad. I love my in laws but I still call them by their names. They didn't raise me so to me they are not my mom and dad. But that's just me.

Ask them what they wish for you to call them. Hopefully, they will invite you to address them by their first names.

Should they suggest that you call them Mom & Dad, simply tell them that you are uncomfortable with that.

If they do not invite you to call them by their names, then call them "ummm" until you have babies. Then, you may address them by the name the your children use!

I address my in-laws by their first names--at their suggestion.
My own daughter-in-law calls me by my first name---at my suggestion.
My son calls addresses his wife's parents by their first names---at their invitation.
It is MOST usual these days to not use "Mom & Dad" for in-laws
