It will not still be brown underneath. The bleaching process does just that, it bleaches which means it strips the colour from the hair.If you now try to dye it dark brown, it will be lighter than your original colour. If you really want to have blond hair it is best to go to the hairdresser and have it done properly. Don`t mess about with bleach on your hair. In the old days, a woman's` hair was her crowning glory, so is yours. You know not all men prefer blondes, most like real natural girls!

By bleaching your hair further you will damage it and the colour will not come out as expected. The best thing to do is dye it dark again. All dyes are damaging to hair but darker dyes are more gentle. After dying it i suggest that you either wait a few months for your hair to regain some of it's nutrients that the bleach took away or visit a salon and let the proffesionals deal with it. Good luck hun, a hair disaster is never fun!

DO NOT USE BLEACH, my hair is brown but I have it blonde, like a golden blonde, you cannot go from brown to blonde direct. try nice n easy and go for their lightest blonde, but not a lightener, keep trying that until you get the colour you like, after that it will be easy to keep it blonde, I have made many mistakes too and tried different dyes and gone too dark, if that happens you in the future wash your hair with head and shoulders and it will lighten it a bit, again keep at it until you have your colour, BUT REMEMBER!! CONDITIONING is very, VERY, important and use shampp and conditioner for COLOURED hair, not medicated shampoo as it will strip the colour from your hair again, good luck I hope it all turns out ok for you.P.S. make sure you do a test colour test first and also allergy test.

I would dye it all back to the color it used to be. Once it has grown out, get some blonde hilights, much classier than a 'bottle blonde' look
