Break up with him. That's an old excuse that guys give when they're seeing two (or more) girls at the same time. I learned that the hard way. I had a boyfriend who wouldn't introduce me to his family or take me out around anyone he knew. Turned out that he was a "player" and was seeing at least 3 other girls at the same time!!!
A guy who loves you and has nothing to hide will want to proudly intoduce you as his girlfriend. A guy who uses lame excuses, ie, he doesn't want attention or your love is so pure he doesn't want to share it with anyone, is just playing you. You deserve better.

if that was my boyfriend i would think it's either because he's embarrassed of me or your not the only one he's with so he doesn't want to show you off so no one will know that he's playing the field. or he could just not like attention. who knows? i just know if that was me, i would not put up with it. but fortunately my boyfriend cares very much about me and is not embarrassed of me at all. actually i was pregnant with someone elses baby when he got with me and it doesn't even bother him to introduce me to his family or friends and trust me they have said some things to him that i wasn't happy with but i try not to let it interfere with our relationship because he doesn't care what other people think so neither should i. anyways, just simply ask your boyfriend why he doesn't want that attention. u should be able to tell by his answer if he's lying to you or not. good luck!

well i would talk to him and ask him y becuz what happends if u 2 get serious and u 2 plan 2 get married what the **** are u 2 goin 2 do have a privat marriage or what if u 2 hve a baby after u 2 get married,
so 2 b seriuos would tell him 2 bet some b@ll$ becuz if he dosnt hes goin 2 drag u down so tell him 2 grow the **** up

It's not that he hates attention, he just doesn't want particular people to find out. Think about it, you dont mind your friends and family knowing that your a couple right. He's not ready to be with just you so, you guys have your private time and ur his girl, but when he's in public he wants to be able to get attention from other girls.

I think he doesnt like u....he doesnt want anybody else know u....maybe he has another gf and u didnt know that....its bullshit if he hates attention....I think u better find another boyfriend...I will do that if I were u....

well i would say you don't have a boyfriend then...I'm done with my boyfriend that acted that way and I suggest you find a man that wants to be with you and doesn't care who knows you are his girlfriend.

To be brutally honest with you it souds like bullshit, forgive the language, get rid, he is obviously with other people and doesn't want them to meet/know each other.
