For a sick child, you should stick to clear fluids like diluted apple juice, water or Pedialyte. Gatorade has some electrolytes, but, it does have a sugar content. As a standard everyday drink, stick to diluted whole fruit juice versus Gatorade which is pretty close to a soda.

Gatorade is ok for older infants if the baby has diarrhea and is dehydrated, but pedialyte is better. Giving gatorade to a young child on a regular basis is probably not a good idea.

As a regular drink, I'd say no. It's made for adults. If it's for a case of the flu or such, a little might be ok if you can't get pedialyte but I'd really try to get the Pedialyte instead. It's formulated for babies.

yes, but I would water it down. The sugars in those are higher that a normal cool-aid drink.

yea my son was 6 months when I gave him gaorade, he wouldnt drink anything else and I was worried that he was going to dehyrdate, so I asked a doctor and he said it was fine
