No. I don't care what people think of me though, so I don't really count.

I've been told that everyone suffers from some level of depression during their lives.
I was also told I shouldn't be embarrassed about my depression. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Its happened because you have a hormonal inbalance, or you're suffering with some kind of stress that has led to depression. No-one knows your situation and why you're on the drug, so who are they to judge?
I actually felt embarrassed picking up my antidepressants at the chemist, coz some of the girls behind to counter are snotty little witches, and the fact I usually go straight from my dr's appointment doesn't help because he forces me to talk about whats going on and then I get all tortured soul again.
So in short, no I wouldn't be embarrassed, and neither should you be!

No, because unless the have laser vision, how would they be able to read Wellbutrin on the side. It is used for depression, but also for people who are trying to quit smoking. Are you embarrassed to be taking it? Don't be so self-conscious, I know a lot of people on it. I work in a hospital, believe me, you wouldn't believe the amount of people taking something for depression.

No. The reason you take medicine to be make yourself feel the way you are suppose to feel. Depression is a Disease that many people have, including myself. I would pick up the bottle and say, "I sure and glad I didn't lose these, might have hurt someone if I had." Then I would laugh and not give a sh.. about what anyone thought or said. If you can't own up to who and what you are you will sink deeper into yourself. I prefer to be me!!!

actually i do take wellbutrin and two other anti-depressants. i wouldn't, in the least, be embarassed if anyone discovered i take these meds. if anyone asked, i would just reply, "my medication(s) is/are helping me to be a survivor of depression. you'd be amazed by the number of people who take anti-depressants. we live at a time when depression has become commonplace. there is help available. why bother to suffer when there are remedies to assist in recovering from depression

Nope. To each his own. Only God can judge me. Some people need medication to level them out. My mom took that when she was going through menopause, so who cares what others think? If they can't take the time to get to know you but have the time to judge you for what meds you're on, screw them! You're a beautiful person, no matter what anyone says. Love yourself and everything about you..

No way! Don't even worry about what random people think of you. If you let those people's opinions bother you, you will never be happy. You are maybe going through some rough times right now, & you take your medication to make you feel better about life and about being you. So, don't be ashamed of who you are...EVER! Love yourself & screw all of the people who gossip & hate on you. Best of luck to you!

No. So many people are on some kind of antidepressant that it wouldn't matter. Might end up starting a conversation "Oh, is that working for you? I'm on Paxil. Have you tried Lexapro?"
LOL

No, being depressed is nothing to be ashamed about. There are plenty of people out that that would like to be on medication but are to scared to ask for help.
