Go back to your dentist, it's possible you have an infection in one of the teeth, or your cavity was so deep that you have nerve irritation and may need a root canal.

I would go back and get x-rays, you might have a nerve dying. If the cavity is real deep, we try putting a base under the filling and hope the nerve calms down. but sometimes this will not work and the nerve will not heal, and there for needs a root canal ( which is no big deal despite what everyone says). So just call them and tell them what is going on.

Go see your dentist ASAP!! I feel your pain...I have lots of dental work! Just got a temporary triple crown bridge! Your fillings shouldn't hurt...after a few hours especially a few days!

If you got tooth colored (composite) filling they will hurt for awhile. Especially to cold! Mine hurt for 2 months! But one day it went away. These are still better than the mercury ones.

You are probably suffering from the after effects of the needles and all the
action in your mouth. You will feel better but it will take time. Lavender oil
on a warm washcloth applied to your face will help. Relax.
