About 5-8 mins. You don't want them to get too soggy. Then the best way to make noodles quick and easy, basically effortless is to boil the water 1st until u see it start to boil and it's really hott. Then add the noodles. It'll be done in about 8 mins. When u boil the water 1st it gets done really fast. But if u put the noodles in b4 u start to boil. It'll take about 10 mins.Remember to keep stirring so it doesn't stick to the pot. Also it depends on the noodle. Macoroni and spaghetti noodles takes about 10 mins. Ramen noodles take like 3 mins. Also read the box for instructions.

With Noodles it depends on the type of noodle, if your making Sphaghetti, you should leave it for 8-12 minutes, make sure you add a little salt to the water and maybe a splash of Olive Oil this will keep the noodles from sticking. Also this is if you want your Shaghetti to be Al Dente. It should turn out just fine. Also taste your noodles to judege their doneness is another way of making sure you don't over cook, and stir often. Oh one more thing, make sure your water is a a full rapid boil before adding your noodles. Happy eating and cooking.

I cook the noodles for about 8-10 minutes then turn off the heat. I leave them in the water because I dont want them to stick together. Just strain a spoonful and serve like that. Or you can boil them with a little oil and then strain them.

Depends upon what kind of noodles you're cooking. Could range from 7 min. for thin spaghetti to 14 min. for big penne or bowties.
NEXT TIME: Read hte directions. They will tell you on the bag or box to boil so many minutes for al dente, or a minute longer for a softer noodle. And just set your timer. That's what I do, and I'm a pretty decent cook.

Depends on what kind of pasta. Ramen noodles take 2-3, bigger noodles can take anywhere betwee 7-12. I go by the box. If you're unsure, throw one at the wall, if it sticks, it's done. I'm serious!

Rather than time, go by taste--other than Ramens, most should be partly cooked by 8 minutes, Fish 1 or 2 out every minute or so after that until they are done to your taste.
Cooking is easy---but follow directions carefully until you get experience!

toss a stand or noodle against the fridge. If it sticks, it is done.
Rinse with hot water to get some of the starch off.
