Yeah, chances are that the dog didn't get enough chocolate to seriously hurt her, but if you want to be on the safe side spoon feed her some hydrogen peroxide. This works, I know because when my little doxie was about 10 months old, some how (really don't know how because they were well out of his reach) got a hold of some mini cadbury cream eggs. I found him in the room with two wrapers and a half eaten on and I totally freaked out! I thought he was going to die (maybe I overreacted a bit). But I called my vet and he assured me that if I gave him some hydrogen peroxide he would puke it all out of his system. And boy did he! I felt so bad for him! Just a warning after giving your dog the hydrogen peroxide she will be puking for quite a while, dry heaving and all. But it works and your dog will stay away from chocolate.
Just use better judgement and don't let her be anywhere near chocolate. I had to learn that lesson too.

Chocolate can indeed be toxic to dogs. In fact, it is one of the 20 most reported poisonings. The ingredient in chocolate that causes the toxicity is theobromine. The minimum toxic level of theobromine is 100-200mg/kg with 250-500mg/kg being the level at which half of the dogs would die as a result of consuming chocolate. So what does that mean as far as how much chocolate is toxic? The level of theobromine varies depending on the type of chocolate. The levels of theobromine are listed below:

Milk chocolate
60 mg/oz

Baking chocolate
450 mg/oz

Semi-sweet chocolate
260 mg/oz

Hot chocolate
12 mg/oz

White chocolate
1 mg/oz

I am not a vet, but I say don't worry about it. Chocolate can be toxic to a dog but it's dark chocolate and bakers chocolate you really need to be concerned with. Milk chocolate like in cookies does not have very much of the chemical that is dangerous.

my dog ate a whole pack of M&M's three years ago and is still happy and jumpin around at this very moment. Don't worry. Chocolate is toxic to the dog, but i think it depends on the dosage you give. I don't encourage giving chocolate though. Just don give her chocolate again. Be careful. cause dogs love chocolate, and will be really glad to swallow it when given the chance.

Chocolate can be bad for dogs because it can cause some liver damage but I think that is dose dependent. In very small amounts I don't think it will do much. It may give the dog diarrhea or make it vomit. Call you vet to double check and see what they recommend.

The amount of chocolate she ate isn't enough to cause harm but if you're worried give her Hydrogen Peroxide in a turkey baster or try to get it down someother way.

that small of an amount of chocolate is not going to harm your dog..if it was a tiny dog and it consumed a large amount of chocolate...then I would suggest a vet. This will probably not even cause her a bout of diarrhea. Don't worry about it..your dog is fine.

My friend had a dog that ate rat poison, he took it to the vet and they put peroxide in the dogs mouth to make it throw up but that little amount is not going to hurt a grown dog.

i dont think that little bit of chocolate will hurt your dog but if you are that concerned that it will you could force it to drink about 1/4 cup of peroxide and that will make the dog vomit. beleive me, it works! i had a dog that got into some rat poison and the vet told me to pour peroxide down her throught untill she vomited and it worked. of cource, i took her to the vet right away and the vet said she was fine since she vomited everything up.

Don't worry about it. That little bit of chocolate won't do her harm. It would be different if you gave her chocolate all the time, but if she swipes a piece of cookie, she'll be fine.
