I have the same problem. Get John Freida #5 hair serum, wash hair, creme rinse, and then squeeze all of the water out of your hair. Put about a dimes worth in palm of hand and rub all thru your hair especially ends and then blow dry. It will freak u out. U won't even know it's u. Please do it.

You're doing everything right. Some people just get split ends easier and more frequently than others. I recommend a leave in conditioner and try letting your hair air dry every once in a while before straightening it. You can also buy sprays to put in your hair before you use your flat iron to protect it. Dove shampoo is AMAZING for dry hair, and it won't make your hair greasy either.

if your hair is dry, and/or if you keep using the flat iron, its burning your hair causing the ends to split. it also depends if you have chemicals in your hair(tints, highlights, etc). heating tools cause alot of damage to your hair. if you want to continue styling i suggest you invest in a good ceramic flat iron(preferably one with adjustable temperature settings) speaking from experience, some irons have one standard setting and it might be too strong for your hair, and also buy some heat protecting products to apply to your hair before styling. you might also try a good hydrating shampoo/conditioner, and do hair treatments atleast once a month. I personally recommend Rusk Thermal STR8 products, designed to help with the daily wear and tear of flat irons. Hope I was useful.

Avoid blow drying the ends of your hair... Start at the roots and work your way down. The heat damages your hair, and you'll ened up with more split ends if you dry the ends a lot.

use matrix sleek.look the whole line. they make a great thermal protectant, so you can still straighten your hair, and it willl obviously take a long time to completely fix it, but it will definitely help. also, if you trim your hair more often, that will help too.

as long as you straighten they will never go away. because if you cut them they will come back. i am going through the same. my hair dresser says that the only way is to cut them off.

Do you blow dry it? Blow drying can often cause your hair to have split ends. Try finding a shampoo that is specifically for split ends.
