It says that the current Pope Benedict XVI (which is #7) is going to rule for a short time, and the next one is going to be an impersonator of John Paul II that is going to be the Anti-Christ.

I don't give much though to this because some people have said that is Bush, others now say is the president of Iran, and I have heard of this guy called Javier Solana too. I didnt read the whole page, so I don't know what it says completely.

The purpose of this study is to awaken beloved readers to the shortness of time between now and the end of all things. We have seen that we are living in the time of the seventh king, the last human pope. God has informed us, in His written Word, that the eighth king will transform the Roman Catholic Church by bringing her out of her wilderness experience and back to her former persecuting-beast status. The eighth king, a devil impersonating John Paul II, will usher persecution for God's people who obey His Sabbath day. The time of the eighth king/beast will witness hitherto unseen false miracles and signs, which will exalt the papacy in the eyes of all who are not written in the Book of Life:

Every century since Jesus walked the Earth has had a dozen men+ that could have been thought to be the Anti-Christ. The point Jesus makes in the gospel is that NOBODY knows anything specific about the last days or when they will happen.

History is plagued with events that could be seen as "end times" experiences. Trying to track down when its going to happen and who the Anti-Christ is, draws your attention away from what you really should be focusing on, and that is a relationship with God, his son, and to listen to his Spirit.

Let's say you find out who the Anti-Christ is, and exactly when the world is going to end. What do you intend to do about it? Save as many souls as you can? Guess what? You've already been commanded to live like that in the first place.

My friend, let me explain something quick. OK?
Old Testament teachings, says This Pope is not the last Pope. This Pope will defect the catholic faith. The next Pope will be the one to watch. This is prophesied in the old testament.

The "Pope" is NOT going to be the False Messiah. OK?

There is NObody alive that is the False Messiah.

The False Messiah, will have a "forerunner like John The Baptist was The Forerunner for Jesus. He will have a False Prophet also.

The False Messiah will be a Political figure that is fatally shot in the head and dies in the street before millions of people. SATAN, fills this dead body and makes it look like it is a miracle, that it comes back too life again. That "trick" will make million upon millions of people that see this live and on TV, "think" this has got to be the Messiah. He fools them. Just like the Jews got fooled with Jesus Christ birth. People will get fooled with the False Messiah.

People said for years, Pres. Lincoln was the Antichrist and Pres. Kennedy because they were political figures and shot in the head.

That can't be possible. it has to be a person alive today. It's NOT that person. It is that person's BODY. OK?
Satan just uses this dead body. It's NOT that person.

BTW: This political body will be from the middle east.

It will come from the 10 Nations. The 10 Countries split into 2 legs. There is 5 countries on each leg. The Antichrist will come from the left leg. Who is on the left leg? Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Egypt. The antichrist will come for the country that starts with the letter (i). ;)

Good Q*.

the (beast) anti-christ is a political leader
the false prophet that follows him would make more sense to your claim

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Guess what??? Many have predicted who will be the Anti-Christ, but all of them are just rumors and stories. No one will really know when will the Anti-Christ reveal himself or herself to public. There are suspects but no one will really know for sure. But one thing is certain, the Anti-Christ will be the person you will least expect to be one.

Baseless predictions are the antichrist. How many times have we heard about the end of the world coming and tommorow being the last day. Come on now, leave people in peace and enjoy life.

The most believable (in my opinion) slant I've heard is that on the Book of Revelation and how it describes "Babylon the Great" as the conglomerate of false religion. Well, that's Catholicism, right?

Of course the fact that there will not necessarily BE a benedict #8 means nothing to you. I think you need to take revelation OUT of yourbible, and study the rest of it. It shouldn'teven BE in the bible, since ithas absolutely nothing to prove its authentication. I'll bet it was written by John Calvin as a method to keep his sick little flock in line.

That's silly. There isn't one Antichrist. Anyone who is against Christ, against believing in Him, and against His teachings is an antichrist. Read the Bible, don't just go by someone else's idea of the end of the world.
