Punishment for suicide is hell.

I trust God with my life, every beat of my heart!

I do trust God with not only my own life, but also my families. Suicide would be murder, I would think, but I haven't really given that much thought. Suicide is a cowards way out. Whatever you are going through, Jesus can make you feel alright again. You may still be broke or broken physically, but, if you trust then you won't feel that way in your heart. I have no idea where you were going with this question, but I pray that God may put his hand on you and touch your pain. May God bring you the assurance you need to face many more days. God has a plan for all of us. Only He can decide when He is through with you. Please, if you feel that your burden is too big, you can pray about it. I know that God will take away your burden, I have felt it. I have felt the weight lifted off my shoulders and a new spirit about me. If you need to talk to someone to help sort out your ordeal, feel free to email me. I may not be able to tell you what to do, but I am a great listener. And the fact that we are strangers may be helpful. May God bless you!

Yes. I trust Him with my life.

I think Thou Shall not kill includes suicide because suicide is killing yourself.

As far as punishment, well, it would be a sin like any other sin. Either the person is forgiven and saved, or they will face death for their sins. But that's the case with any and all sin.

Yes, I trust God with my life, and I would do anything for Him. Suicide is a difficult topic, especially since Christians are not to judge. I would think it depends on the situation. If a person is mentally ill, how can they be held accountable for killing themselves? Or if they are on prescription drugs, that would be the same.
Any other scenario would be unacceptable, but it would not be for me to decide that persons punishment.

"The wages sin pays is death"Rom.6:23.So you see, even if you
should commit suicide you have paid for that sin.Which isin't to
say that God approves of suicide, because he does not..The gift
of life is a precious gift that Jehovah gives us.Now, when you take
in an accurate knowledge of God and the one he sent forth Jesus
Christ,it means everlasting life.John.17:3,So you see faithful
Christians have the chance for life in paradise earth under Gods
Righteous new system.and even if you should die most have the
hope of the resurrection. At Acts.24:15 it tells us that there will be
a resurrection the RIGHTEOUS as well as the UNRIGHTEOUS.
We have to put our hope and trust in Jehovah God and strive to
do his will to the best of our ability.

Well, I would think that you have to look at the reasons behind the suicide. If it's depression, that's a sin for the believer. Who can really say what would happen to them? I, personally, don't think you can ask for forgiveness for an action that you KNOW you're going to commit. It defeats the purpose. The purpose of repenting is acknowledge your sin, ask for forgiveness, and turn away from it.

ABSOLUTELY trust Him. yes I would do anything for Him, after all He died for me.

The suicide thing-no one knows for sure what the punishment is. Only God knows.

God doesn't want you to commit suicide because you are interfering with His will for your life.

I trust my inner self with my life. As far as suicide. I am pagan and follow the path of Wicca. We believe in reincarnation. We live our lives and learn certain lessons die and are born again into another life with new lessons until we have learned all that is meant for us to learn. If we commit suicide we fail to learn the lessons of that life so we are born again in the exact circumstances to live it all over again until we learn what we are meant to learn.

This is enough for me to hang in there and not commit suicide because if this life is that bad I sure as heck do not want to live it over and over until I get it right.

#1...YES
#2...YES... thou shalt not commit murder is the correct translation... the willfull takeing of life for some personal benifit would be one clasification of murder... suicide is for a personal reason and it ends a mortal life that belongs to God...
#3...For one of The True Christian Faith to deliberatly take ones own life would be a sin... one of The True Christian Faith has the promise of God that they will be admitted to Heaven when they die... This promise will not be broken by God... Those of The Faith who enter Heaven will be judged to determin what rewards they receive in Heaven... The more sin in ones life the fewer rewards...The more selfless works done in Christs name after Salvation will earn more rewards... Suicide is a sin... one less reward...I do not believe that would apply to one who willingly gives his life for another.
