They get a tummy ache...then they curl up into a little ball and start talking to themselves...then they form a cocoon...then they begin to sing the words to "I Write The Songs" (Barry Manilow) over and over until Spring where they hatch and become a beautiful butterfly...
Basically, if you want 6 legs and pretty wings, don't eat for three days...if not, at least, have some cheese or a Hostess Cupcake...

Any loss they experience is gained back as soon as they start eating again. The metabolism thinks you have been starving and it will hang onto every calorie you put inside you.

First the fat burns off (the bodies extra energy storage)
Then muscle starts to burn too (although muscle turns to fat after inactivity, it can also be burned off directly like what happens to fat)
Although if you mean "no food OR water" starve, you'd be dead in 3 days

One of the hosts of The Daily 10 on E! fasted for 18 days!
I think she only drank water, ate nothing. So though it'll make you hungry and deplete your energy, I don't think it will have any extreme negative effects on you, but I'm no expert.

They can get sick. Their body starts to eat itself...not just fat, but muscle and other proteins too. It can be very dangerous to ones health and not recommended....it also won't help you loose weight because once you start eating again your body will still be in survival mode and store as much food as possible in it's cells.

3 or 4 days without food is fine as long as they have water. People sometimes fast for 30 days and just drink water. I wouldnt reccomend it unless God told you to do it.

Not clever. They usually make themselves very ill. Anorexia is a very serious illness, if you feel you may be leaning towards this, please seek some medical advice. There are plenty of ways you can get to a normal healthy weight, just by eating good food in healthy amounts. Being thin isn't worth dying for. :-)

They gain weight when they start eating again, and usually they end up bigger than where they started.
