to physically take care of another spouse...they in turn after through thought decide to put him in a caring home...why do people say...."i wouldn't do that."....now mind you the people have not idea what they are talking about....or like i have said...they have never walked in HER SHOES...SO IN REALITY THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WOULD DO UNTIL THEY ARE FACED WITH a terrible decision to have to make....tell me your opinion even though you don't know the story...and i do not want to explain my FRIEND'S horrific situation...?????

I would do what was in the best interest for both people. I know it would be hard if I had to put my husband in a home, but I would want him to put me in one (a nice one, lol) if I were to much a burden to take care of. And I don't mean burden in a bad way, but there is only so much a person can handle and it's not like you can't still see each other.

It would depend on the severity of the spouse's injury/illness. We really can't tell what's going on, or give advice on anything unless you tell us about your friend. Every thing's anonymous here my dear.
