The problem with Psych meds is that everyone reacts differently. One combination will work for one person but will totally fail with another person. It is extremely important for your mother to stay in close contact with her doctor. If you are concerned that she might not always be able to speak for herself have her sign a medical release allowing you to speak directly to her doctor regarding her symptoms and treatment. This will really be the only way to get the right combination of meds to help your mother. Good luck.

These are some heavy hitters when it comes to the deporession, antipsycohotic and anti anxiety medications. She needs to contact the doctor to get the dosages stabilized ( lowered or increased). she should not stop taking her medication until a doctor has said so. If she does this could be more harmful than what she is going through.

Unfortunately no-one has the answer. The truth is that different people react to these medication differently. As much as they advertise some, and as much as they may work for many, lots of people have a different reaction. The only way to know it to try one and then another.

Sorry about your problem. Keep up your hope.

Has she been completely evaluated by a psychologist/ psychiartrist? This needs to be done before all of these medications go into her. Ask what each medication is for, write it down and make sure you show it to any other doctor she sees.
You can also ask your pharmasist what each drugs side effects are in detail and what that specific drug is usually used for.

If she is not seeing a good psychiatrist to prescribe these meds, then she needs to. They are more familiar with medications of that sort, and how to prescribe them.
