Can God take a Joke?

Or is he just way to seriously busy running the universe?
I know that most Christians can't...but what about God?

I'm convinced that the Almighty has a sense of humor--just look at the platypus. Moreover, we are made in His image, and we have a sense of humor.

Personally, I think the Lord not only can take a joke, but could pull off one that would be awesome in its perfection.

And who says Christians can't take a joke? Most of the Christians I associate with are some of the merriest, happiest people I know.

Yes he can. He is the creator of a sense of humor. I have often thought that there would be no one funnier than the Lord. One thing he will not do though is sacrifice his integrity and Holiness for a joke. Some people think that all is permissible as long as it can be cataloged as a joke. Blasphemy and such is never funny.

Moses, Jesus, and another guy were out playing golf one day.

Moses pulled up to the tee and drove a long one. It landed in the
fairway but rolled directly toward a water trap. Quickly Moses raised
his club, the water parted and it rolled to the other side, safe and sound.

Next, Jesus strolled up to the tee and hit a nice long one directly
toward the same water trap. It landed directly in the center of the pond
and kind of hovered over the water. Jesus casually walked out on the
pond and chipped it up onto the green.

The third guy got up and sort of randomly whacked the ball. It headed
out over the fence and into on-coming traffic on a nearby street. It
bounced off a truck and hit a nearby tree. From there it bounced onto
the roof of a nearby shack and rolled down into the gutter, down the
downspout, out onto the fairway and right toward the same pond. On the
way to the pond, it hit a little stone and bounced out o ver the water,
onto a lily pad where it rested quietly. Suddenly, a very large bullfrog
jumped up on the lily pad and snatched the ball into his mouth. Just
then, an eagle swooped down and grabbed the frog and flew away. As they
pass over the green, the frog squealed with fright and dropped the ball,
which bounced right into the hole for a beautiful hole in one.

Moses turned to Jesus and said, "I hate playing with your Dad.

Have your own relationship with God, I do. I say silly things to him, as if he were right here, and one of my good friends. he knows how you are, after all, he made you that way. Just be honest and open with your feelings. He knows whats inside of your heart! don't ever let anyone tell you how you have to act with the Lord. I mean, he is God, but he's your friend, father and shoulder to lean on. he probably wants to laugh with you!

I happen to think God has a great sense of humor! He sends me things to laugh at with him all the time :-D I've even laughed at him at times, and as long as it's all clean good fun I think he's okay with that. (yes, fun CAN be good and clean and still be fun ;-D)
