Alright, my son is 6 months old. I have this "shelf" that for nothing won't go away. I watch what I eat and I try to exercise for 1 hour atleast 3-4 times a week. My "preggo belly" won't go away and I look terrible. :o( I do eat right and I think somethings wrong ... lol ... Can you tell me how I can lose this weight and get back to normal???

Sounds like you are on the right track! I read something that I love to repeat -- it takes 9 months to put it on, so you should allow yourself 9 months to take it off. It took me just about that long to lose all the baby weight. It's hard, too, because you have to build the muscles back up in your abdomen, so it's not just about losing the weight. Think about how stretched out they got!

So you're doing great, keep at it, and be patient. : )

what do you mean by eating right? this differs person to person. I tell you what seems to work for me, I'm a guy by the way, lol. but if you increase the number of times you eat and cut down on the size of the portion (should be no bigger than your fist). you will increase your metabolism and burn calories faster, also increase the amount of water you drink daily (about 8 glasses per day) and do high rep low weight exercises during your workout. this will tone you up instead of adding bulk.

To me your problem is not over weight, but it is the week, lax abdominal wall muscles. So go now and start excercises to strengthen your abdominal wall and you wont believe what you see in the mirror in a few weeks time. What are you waiting for? Sign out and go straightaway.

You need to crank up the intensity during your workouts. I want you to sweat more and workout harder. Challenge yourself every time.. if it's an exercise you don't want to do, that means you need to do it... if it's too easy, then make it harder. Push it to the limit and that "preggo" will be history.
