People have been eating pepper for thousands of years, it is just a seasoning. Starburst is a candy and might rot your teeth

Do you put pepper on your starburst? Yuk. Everything causes cancer. The truth is they don't really know why some people get cancer while others don't, so they think everything causes it since they can't distinguish the ones who have it from the ones that don't.

Pepper is not bad, starburst is bad.
Starburst is loaded w/ sugars which cause tooth decay and loaded w/ hydrogenated vegetable oils (i.e. transfat) which causes the flavor to last longer... that element is the hardest kind for your body to breakdown and process, so it stores as fat most often.
Pepper is good for sinuses, headaches and your endocrine systems.

I do not believe any of these two items will give you cancer. However, I do get a massive headache when I try to blow a bubble with a Starburst! :)

well either your cousin is a know it all or dumb, because you won't get cancer from them unless you only eat those 2 things. tell him or her to check their facts, or at least ask them where they heard that from. and they both rock, so i tak it offensively haha jk : )
