I need some help. I want to be able to read and write in Japanese on my computer. I have the US version of Win XP Pro. A couple of people I know have a program that allows them do it but like most things with computers the person who loaded it onto their computers cannot be contacted at the moment. What do I have to download to enable me to accomplish this and one big point will I really want to be able to use it while using MSN messenger.

Microsoft has language packs. I think that is all you are looking for.

First, and most importantly, you'll need to download and install some Japanese fonts.

Just remember others won't be able to read what you say unless they, too, have the same fonts installed.

On a Mac, shift/manipulate/three takes a snapshot of the display. If you press shift/manipulate/four, you'll be able to click on and drag over the discipline you wish; the snapshot is taken whilst you liberate the mouse button.
