i met someone but too early on i got serious-after the second date...(eh, i'm not very experienced in dating). did i scare him off? i really like him and he said the same about me but he admitted he quite recently come out of a 10yr term relationship (2 years ago) and doesn't feel like settling down yet(he's 31). so do i go with him and possibly fall in love with him even though he admits he wants to sow some wild oats or do i just forget him?....though i can't seem to forget him.... : (

Why don't you continue to see him every now and then but don't waste to much of your time if he continues to feel the same. Remember time is precious and you don't want to waste any more than you have to there are plenty of nice eligible guys out there looking for the right girl to settle down with. Good luck!!

He let you know that he doesn't want to settle down just kick it with him and see you may just change his mind on settling down and you could be the one and since you can't forget him then you have him in your life and as far as falling when you feel that way pull back for a couple of weeks and then see what happens on his end your in control without him knowing it

Carry on for a wee while and see what happens. Don't leave yourself available to him all the time and play a bit hard to get. Above all keep going out with your own friends. If he sees that you have plenty going on in your own life without him he will feel less threatened and will have much more respect for him.

I think the answer to this question is actually kind of simple, I believe in the theory that if someone or something loves you it will come back to you, I had to learn it the hard way, but I still use that theory to help me make decisions.

GET OUT BEFORE YOU GET SEVERLY HURT GURL!!!! It's clear where he is in his datin life, is that really da kind of relationship u want? i dont think so, sweetie guard ur heart, get out now, before u really fall for him and it makes it that much harder, no matter how much u like him, is it worth the pain dat he could cause you?

Im sorry hon.

Maybe u should jus befriend him, and maybe later on down the road, he might have a change of heart.

Don't forget him, just don't submit to him. Be his friend, not his lover, after hanging for a while you might become close or you might see something you really wouldn't like in him.

Keep him at arms length until those wild oats have been sown.

a 10 yr. relationship is a really long time...if he is telling you that he doesnt want anything serious, u should let him go....give him space to breath...if he reallly likes you he might come back to u;....dont u think???
... if you really like him ...stop seeing him now....later it might be late(ull probably be in love w-him really deeply)......& thats going to hurt if he is not interested in u the way ur interested in him...
