Does that mean that God "evolved" during the several thousand years between the two book? Or since many say that an hour to God is like a thousand years to us, does it just mean that he is grumpy in the morning?

God has different principles for different dispensations. He does not change. Also, to Him, a thousand years as only one day. Read Bible and get yourself educated in spiritual matters.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicide attempt.)

God realized, after sending his only child (or himself, depending on who you ask) to Earth in the form of Jesus, that "being human ain't so easy" which is why he changed his attitude in The Bible, part II.

I am not a Christian, but this is the way I take it after having read the Good Book a few times.

Is he?
As far as I'm concerned, He seems consistent all the way thru.
Do it my way Or feel my wrath.

Some have an easy time obeying but some just can't.
So guess it depends on UR views of God as 2 whether U C him as Lion or Kitten.

You speak like you know something about the Word of God. And of course you know nothing at all. Why don't you read the Bible and do some in depth studying before you spout off with that tripe.

no it means people got wise!

people started saying why should we pray to a god who kiss all in a flood even the good and only save his mate Noah just to punish the bad.
So the Cristian's changed it to.... god will for give you what ever you do as long as you repent on your death bed, so now everyone can prey to him....

its a bit like a promotion to push up the numbers

It is possible to piss off a generally kind person, hard to do but possible,
I think during the old testimend we just REALLY pissed God off, so we saw thenfurry, but then WE evolved, and became at peace with god, so He forgave us.

Maybe you should read the Old Testament, and the New Testament together. He is the same.

He also said "Vengence belongs to me, I will repay." Thus vengence doesn't belong to us humans.
