Yes, I had ancestors on both sides and ancestors in the revolutionary war and the war of 1812. I don't have much info on my civil war ancestors at this point; however, My greatx5 grandfather was with (then)General Andrew Jackson at New Orleans in 1814. My grandmother has a copy of his furlough papers releasing him to go home and see his wife and new son. I named my youngest son after him, William. I'm researching a reletave who was killed at Chicamauga./ Confederate, Rank Lt.
