Polenta is easy to make. It goes on the bottom of your chili bowl. It's very filling. Also cheese goes great on top of your chili. If you mean a side dish hot dogs would go well with chili. Bon appetite!

Cornbread is a standard accompaniment. I serve mine over rice and topped with LOTS of cheese. I've seen others crumble crackers in the bowl before spooning the chili over it.

One of my favorite childhood dishes is Frito pie...rip open a bag of Fritos corn chips and pour the chili over the chips. Top with cheese (onions optional) and there you go!

Ladle chili over a bed of lettuce and top with whole kernal corn, cheese, black olives. Side of cornbread. Excellent!

cheese, you can make a chili cheese dog,chili fries, (crackers with your chili is good) But make sure you get Ritz.Mmm hmm good :)

Roast some veggies..as broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage slices..all dotted w/ olive oil, sprinkled w/ onion & Galicia powder to taste . I always do a deviled egg tray( using chopped green olives inside) .

and here i thought i was the only one... With my chili beans we put it on top of white rice with lots of cheese and cornbread... mmmmmm my favorite...
