I don't think that you should put milk in it. I personally put a little bit of sugar (or sugar substitute) in mine, you could also use honey.

Well if you just want to drink it for the heck of it, you can have it with sugar. honey, lime wedge, cream or milk, cold, hot etc. You still will get the antioxidant quality of it as you make it part of your regular routine.
*** If you want to use it as tratment to clean your system this is what I was told to do every 6/8 weeks and maybe is just mind suggestion but when I do it I fell better...
*** Every morning make 1 bag of green tea in 2 cups of water and have it by it self. *don't add even sugar * after 2 hours have your brakefast.
*** During those weeks limit the amount of junk food, fried food, sugar, fat, processed foods and red meat then add more veggies, salads, fish and chicken (no skin), a lot of water, whole grains, just a healthier diet.
** Also I was told to use 2/3 bags of green tea in 3/4 cups of hot water, let then soak in a water pitcher, then add honey and lemon wedges or fresh squeez juice and top off with water, let stand for a couple hours, pick out the tea bags and drink this during the day.

Most asian people drink it plain. I personally think it tastes a bit weird with sugar and especially milk/cream, but if you like it with all that stuff in then go ahead by all means. I also like to chill the green tea and add a bit of sugar or splenda sometimes too.

I'm sure you can put milk, sugar, or cream in it, but to be honest i think that takes away from what it is suppose to do...I believe it is an antioxident suppose to clean out your system.. I just read on the back of my green tea box and it says best served without milk... I've only had it a few times myself, but i never put anything into it.

Just like regular tea my dear. You can add to it what you'd normally add be it lemon, orange, cream, sugar or honey. I drink pomengranate juice which has about 20 times the antioxidant properties of green tea but is very bitter and takes getting used to.
Putting cream or milk in tea is good in Earl grey or Oolong tea. I used to date a girl from Leamington Spa who would put honey and cream in her black tea here in the states if you did that people would stare at you a bit.

no milk. You could put sugar in it, but I recommend honey and maybe a twist of lemon (if you like lemon). I usually drink it hot with nothing added, but that's because I'm cutting calories.
When you brew your green tea, be careful not to scoarch it. Use water that is not quite boiling (water boils at 212f) instead use water at about 190f to 200f, and let it steep for no longer than 4min and 30seconds, otherwise its starts to "turn" (the acids in the leaves start taking over, giving the tea a bitter taste)
I hope you like it. It is very good for you but it may take some getting used to. Try different kinds of green teas that have extra things in it to give a different flavor like: lavender, lemon, rose, or lemongrass.

Just a little sprinkle of sugar into it is yummy. Or a little honey is good too with a slice of lemon. Green tea is a wonderful antioxident. Enjoy =)

If you're drinking green tea teabags or supermarket loose leaf you may as well add cola. If you're using good grade loose leaf please don't tell me about the use of any additions aside from water or I may cry. Teachat.com is a tea forum with some reasonable info.
