In my case, we have been together a year but I keep getting plagued with doubts. I can't honestly say how I feel about him. Many times I feel bored and run down in the relationship. I feel like we can be together but not really connected to each other. Often I want to go and do things and he seems more content in his lazy boy chair in front of the tv. Perhaps I am just a hopeless romantic but I need someone who wants more conversation, dancing, and long walks. Or am I just being picky and taking a good thing forgranted?

If there are things that make you unhappy, and you still stay trying to focus on the positive, that's not a good thing. I was with someone for awhile and he was changing for the worse. I tired to look past those things, but still stayed with him. I'm glad we finally broke up because it was getting to the point where I missed the earlier times of our relationship and hoped he would go back to the man I met.

The man I am with now, I love. I see his imperfections, but it's nothing I can't live with and it's not hurting me.
