Being yourself will impress him - trying to act anything different is lying to yourself and him.
What would you do once you land the guy and then start acting like yourself again, just to see him break up with you?

Be pleasant. A pleasant disposition and attitude goes a long way. If you have this, that means no drama is involved.
One more thing, learn how to agree to disagree without being disagreeable. Which means you can disagree with your guy, but it will not cause a fight or a problem. You can agree to disagree!
