why not both fill with butter cream then cover in fudge frosting why because it makes a extra special cake you can have everyday.......... go on treat yourself you are worth it...........

If your making a white cake use the fudge icing, but if your making a chocolate cake use the butter cream, I think it makes the flavor sort of level out

By all means the Chocolate Fudge Frosting. It's is creamy and denser and way more delicious that Butter Cream.

It depends on what kind of cake you are making. I love butter cream, but chocolate fudge is better in chocolate cake.

I'd say chocolate fudge frosting, but it's really a matter of taste. If you're a chocoholic, choose chocolate, but if you're not, a vanilla butter cream will give a nice contrast and balance of flavours.

I'd go with the Fudge as it's heavenly, for sheer decadence you could add a layer of butter cream in the middle - So Sweet!
