ok my fiance is the love of my life, i just adore him but there is one problem, hes not funny. he thinks he is and its just dumb... i am freakin hilaerous! all of my friends think im great, its hard for people to keep from peein when im around. i have a dry stupid sense of humor. he just stares at me like im speakin spanish. my ex husband though, was funny like me. we hated each other but we could have fun between fights. i dont want to call it quits with my man over this, everything else is perfect about him its just this. how can i make him think im funny?

Don't worry about it. It's a matter of taste. Your situation sounds exactly like me and my wife's marriage. She's hysterical, but she never laughs at anything I say. Other people think I am funny, I don't try to be. But the same "other people" think that my wife is hysterically funny. There are times I make my wife laugh, but they are usually when I am not trying to make her laugh. You'll both get used to each other. Maybe, over time, he'll say something that tickles you. Don't force it. Just enjoy each others company. Good luck, have fun, and buy him a joke book.

I think that you might be expanding this situation a little more than suggested in the manual! Fiance doesn't think your funny.........my girlfriend doesn't think I'm a real Jim Carry either, so my solution to that was to find out what she thinks funny might be and downgrade sweetie! And no this is not Libby but rather her 21 year old brother in which I might add is very comical. But to further help, you must come to the conclusion and/or the basis of your humor and if that be dry verbal; try body, facial, and voice humor. If your a Jim Carry than be Owen Wilson. And vice-versa. I hope all goes well.

Hes just not your type of funny. I say appreciate him and love him for who he is. Dont try to change him. If its really that much of an issue to you then you might need to find someone else.

ewww! this tastes of a donkey that has in basic terms ran to australia nd returned sat in a poisonous waste bin grown a hundred ft tall ate a vinegar production unit, then fell directly to a petroleum tanker and have been given exploded and cooked. lol

find a tv show that uses comedy very similar to your type of humor, then get him to watch it somehow. try to have more inside jokes with him so he'll get what you're talking about. i would't leave him over this, you always have your friends aht you can share a good laugh with. believe me when i say a good man is hard to come by....good luck

as times goes on you will think he's funny because you will know his logic better but there's usually only 1 person that can be the funny one!!

People are who they are.. Think of it this way... can you make yourself laugh at your fiance with out making him be funnier? It is just two different personalities.
