Every day, stretch your muscles out. It's especially important to do this before and after workouts.

Sounds like you are on the right track! It's always best to stretch before and after your work-out routine. If there is an instructor at the gym you attend, they should be able to give you a sheet of examples you can use for different areas you want to be limber. If you don't have an instructor, some of the other members should be able to demonstrate a teck- that would prove to be beneficial. Keep up the good work!

just continually stretch- some people think this is only needed before a sport or strenuous exercise-not true. hundreds of different kinds of stretches can be found in magazines, books, internet, etc. but not hard to make up yourself (you know when your body is being stretched) Over time, it will make you more limber. This may sound odd, but stretch extra right before you go to bed! It loosens up your muscles to help you to relax and sleep better.

Go to google and type "working toward the splits" and you'll get an excellent step by step program for limbering up.

Look up combat stretching online. I use it and after 3 months can do the splits. Never could before in my life. I am still overweight (working on it) but I am so flexible now. I don't hurt as much either anymore.

You got it, stretching is your answer for every body part! You can go online and get some good stretches or you can get a book that has alot of them. They should be easy to find. Go to your search engine and type in "stretching for flexibility" and you'll find all you need and more.
