I think if you want something more than what the beautician can offer, then I don't see anything wrong with it. You should be excited for your daughter. More parents should be involved, in even the smallest part of their child's life". You sound like a great mother. Rock on!!!!!!

You can bring it with you and be sure to tell the stylist that she doesn't want to look like one of Dolly Parton's wigs. What I mean by that is she doesn't want to have her hair teased all up and put in huge curls on the top of her head. If you get that she will probably go home in tears and wash it out and then you are out the money. By the way if you don't like the way it looks don't pay for it and don't leave the salon until you are satisfied. Once you pay and leave you have no recourse.

Nope, the hair stylists provide everything, well depending on who you go to. Most have bobby pins and other clips to hold hair in it's place. Concerning glitter, most of them have this as well, they'll be prepared. They deal with things like

yes bring any pins or hair accesories that match her dress. I would also bring the glitter. If you have a picture from a magazine that has her hair style make sure you bring it. Good luck to you and lots of hairspray!

Unless you have a special barrette or flower you want in your daughter's hair, you take nothing. The hairdresser will have bobby pins and all the hair products needed to fix her hair the way she wants it. Those things are part of the price you pay to have hair fixed.

If there is a special barrette or hair-thingy or flowers that you want in her hair, you'll need to bring it. The hair salon will provide the basic "holding" items for you.

Call the salon and ask.
Some salons have this stuff and will use it if you ask free of charge, others charge for using thier "supplies"(glitter, jeweled clips, ect.)
And some salons require you to bring your own.

as a stylist, if you want any rhinestones exc. bring it yourself. But for her hair to stay longer, have her shampoo the night before. If thats not possible, make sure it's completly dry before you get there. They should have their own bobby pins though.
