yes i think they do.
my ex (a brit) loved my californian accent (which was funny because i didn't know we had one-but she insisted it made me sound sexy and that we had one-but her and her friends always..and i mean always-laughed at the souther accent)

No. The American accent doesn't sound sexy or attractive at all, overseas. Someone who has an American accent sounds uneducated because foreign people (mostly in Europe) tend (even unconsciously) to compare American english and British english ... the american english is broken, the british english is proper english ... so when an American talks, that sound like uneducated. The british accent looks very sophisticated and may sound sexy for some people.

I would not say sexy or attractive.
I would say on the whole passable but there are some awful versions of English spoken in America.
Yes Americans do have accents - there are many different types from New Yorkers who put "w" in the word Coffee to people who say "mire" instead of mirror.
If anyone can claim to speak "Plain English" it is the English as it sort of came from here??
There are some terrible accents in England too mind you - For me someone who comes from Newcastle in the North is a lot less understandable than someone from Spain talking at 150 mph!

i love the american accent, its easy and fast, but to tell u the truth its not sexy at all, not compared to italian, spanish and french.
here in egypt, almost everybody speaks english as a second language (using american accent)
i graduated from a british university, but i still use the american accent.

Lots of Spanish men thought my American accent was sexy!! But maybe it had something to do with me being sexy too! ;)

I live in Panama, and we don't find anything special with the American accent. Maybe in other countires. However, European accents have a different story.

I dont really know. I would think they would think our language sounds plain and boring. I LOVE to hear accents from men (especially hot ones) from around the world- they sound so much more exotic than us!
