I'm remodeling my house and I already have the carpet picked out. Its a med./light blue color. I have no idea what colors i should paint my walls that would look good with it. Any ideas??

Well, theres always white, but it'll look dirty and drab after about 10 minutes!
You can do a colorful bold yellow wall, or bold tan/cream color.
Or even navy blue.
But why did you pick a blue carpet? Any particular reason?

You can't go wrong with a nice neutral but warm color. Blue is considered a cool color so you need some warmth to balance it. Try something like a taupe or a cafe au lait. Go pick up some color samples and check out your options before buying paint you may end up hating.

Do you have a favorite picture or print that will be in the room, that also has blue in it? Take some of the other colors out of the print and incorporate within the room - like throw pillow, drapes, knickknacks. Blue is my favorite color.

Paint your walls with the same color of your carpet... paint it with sky blue...

Go with a neutral tone, such as cream or off-white. Use your furniture to accent the blue in your carpet, as well as wall hangings or shelves.

A rich charcol color would be beautful. If you don't like that then a blue-ish gray (deep) would look good too. Don't go for anything pale or pastel. Rich colors are in right now anyway. It will look really sophisticated.

well whatever you think looks best....me personally i think mabey some light green colors or if you want to go for the whole underwater theme....then more blues(darker though).....

I am guessing your very traditional.
I then would think about going with a gold wall.
Or warm white.
