FIRST THE FILM WILL BE STUCK TOGETHER, IF YOU IMMEDIATELY ,IN THE DARK UNROLL THE FILM BEFORE THE FILM EMULSION STICKS TOGETHER AND IS DAMAGED. LET IT DRY THEN THE FILM CAN BE DEVELOPED. BUT IT MUST BE KEPT IN THE DARK (NO LIGHT) UNTIL DEVELOPMENT.
ALSO ,HOPEFULLY IT'S JUST CLESN WATER THAT GOT IT WET.
IF IT IS COLOR FILM (C-41)YOU MAY LET THE DEVELOPER KNOW ABOUT THE SITUATION AND THEY MAY BE ABLE TO INSPECT THE FILM IN A BLACK BOX. BEFORE DEVELOPING.

if it was clean water, yes. if it was muddy mississippi water, yes--but it'll be discolored. film is developed wet, anyway, so clean water doesn't really bother it. i wouldn't recommend it, but if it's just leisure photos, don't worry.
