All you have to do is contact (714) 935-6420 and ask for the calender department. They will be able to give you a run down of what papers you need. You will for sure need the custody forms first It's just a packet of papers that include custody changes, visitaion, and child support forms), and then the judge will schedule a court date. He needs to be served (not by you) the papers so he can respond to the court. Then they will probably schedule you both for mediation to see if you two can come to a parenting agreement first before your court date. After that, you just need to bring in your income verification, and you'll need to fill out a financial form (if you will be paying him child support) and bring that on your court date. It's pretty easy. I did it several years ago, but I also was getting divorced. I have full custody now, but I was able to do it all myself. Make sure that you get to the court at least an hour before the court opens because you will need to stand in line to be seen by a facilitator that will help you fill out the papers correctly. Hope this helps, and good luck with everything! Good luck sweetie! It's gonna be a long process, but alot cheaper if you do it yourself. :)

Here is a site that I found that has all the forms that you need, I am not sure which ones are needed, but they are readable and you can see them if you click them, it is Orange County, in CA. You can print the formas as needed as well, before filing though I would talk to a lawyer to be sure that it is all correct! Good Luck!

this is a complicated question. u should ask ur court appointed social worker or the friend of the court. if ur not sure who this person is call the local court house and ask to talk to the friend of the court. this person handles custody and child support. they will tell u what to do next.

if u dont' want to wait for them to help u out (their always very busy and under staffed), contact a lawyer. this is the best idea and will get u custody faster if u get it at all.

STOP YELLING AT US!

That said, you are discussing the welfare and future of your children. Get a lawyer. If you screw up, you may never see your kids again. Do you really want to risk that?

SHECK OUT THE LOCAL BOOK STORE OR AN OFFICE SUPPLY STORE FOR DOCUMENTS.

In the future, it would be appreciated if you didn't type in all caps. It's really annoying and scientifically proven to take longer to read. Thanks.
