Well, at 71 I don't think she is no longer a girl. We call them woman now or a lady. The the age of 22 you should know better so I am guessing the boy would be right for you. What the hell do you want with a 71 year old lady? I would hope money, That would be all she could do for you unless you like to sit and watch tv. Dont mean to be mean but not sure what you are trying to do here. That is unheard of.

As long as it's legal, which it is, I guess then they can do
what they want. If some people have a thing for dating
people much older than them, that's their business. If
much older men can date much younger women, then
turnabout's fair play. I can't imagine why any 22 year-old
man would want to do that, unless it was for some kind of
inheritance he would receive from the 71 year-old when she
dies, but hey, there might be people who are into that sort of
thing. I guess it's like a fetish for some people.

A 71 year old is most definitely not a girl, thats a woman. Ok, I'll be honest with you its gonna look weird being with someone that much older than you, people just might think you're her grandson or something. Look, its ok if you want to be with her but just be prepared for snide comments, side eyed looks and lots of advice that will go something along the line of "what the heck are you thinking". You need to decide for yourself if its worth it.

in my book there is ..... because I would first have to question what a 22 year old man could have in common with a 17 year old girl - other than the obvious attraction
needs to stick with his own age group
