Yer they sure do ! My cat gets them now and again not that often but sometimes lol usely when she has eaten too much too fast lol

A number of years ago I was preparing custard and had mixed up the custard powder, sugar and milk to form a paste. I turned away for a few minutes and when I returned to the bowl it was empty! I couldn't understand what had happened to it, but then a few minutes later my Siamese cat started hiccuping!
She looked incredibly startled at what was happening to her - and she never stole custard mixture again!

yes cats get hiccups just like us hiccups are cause by to much air in the tummy or they eatten they food too fasted

Yes they can and do. Cats can get most illnesses we humans do, although they seem to react exactly the same when trying to get up a fur ball or grass.

yes cats get hiccups.they have a diaphragm that is why they hiccups.

Yes! One of mine got them so hard today, she looked like she was having convulsions. It took her about 15 minutes to get over them.

Yes, mine does all the time. He comes over and sits on my lap and his whole little body jumps. I try to pat him gently on the back but I honestly don't know what helps make them go away but they do go away eventually.

I swear one of mine has a few times. Never lasted very long and he didn't seem bothered by it.

My cat sounds like she does, but then usually throws up a furball shortly afterwards.........yuk!
