I had a really wonderful date with a seemingly wonderful guy on Monday. I texted him on Tuesday saying, "Thanks for taking me out. I had fun." He wrote back saying, "I had lots of fun to!" and since this series of texts we have not corresponded with one another. I'm waiting for him to call. So today is the third day that we have not talked and I'm being a total girl and letting it bug me. How long does it take for a guy to call you after a first date if he likes you?? How long is too long?? Any good/bad signs/things you all think I should know? I know he wasn't just trying to get laid. I thought we had a really great time though. And there's soooo much stuff that he did that would lead me to believe he's interested. So wtf? Anyone got anything helpful to say on this subject? Haha... Thanks for the help guys!!

Give it a few more days, get on with your own life.
You're letting yourself get infatuated too easily.
Maybe you don't have a life of your own, . . have you considered that he has a life of His Own to live? Like does he have a job, does he have siblings he has responsibilities to look after, is he studying for a critical exam, does he have a commitment with someone you don't know about, perhaps he is a player and is dating another girl that you don't know about.
There are lots of possibilities, . . . If he doesn't check in with you in a couple more days, let it go. You can always hook up at a later time to chat or have another date.
Just get on with your life & live!

Im firm in letting the guy make the first move, so I would wait(even though its gonna bug ya) but calling him asking him if he has plans because you thought it would be cool to go smewhere or do something wouldn't be too bad..just dont call all the time

It's Man Law. Wait 3 stabdard days before calling so we don't look like desperate losers. He'll call tonight. However, if he read the bylaws he'd also know to contact you no later then thursday to see if you have anything planned Fri or sat night. He's a beginner. Rest assured tho....your message had the right effect by reassuring him you're receptive to another date. Good luck!

they always say give the guy 48 hours to call you back.
if he doesn't, i guess that's just a sign things won't work out as
well as you want it to be.
then again, tats not always true. just be patient. or at the most,
you call him. ask him what he's been up to or something.
you know, casual talk. if after that he STILL doesn't come and
find you. maybe you should just try and forget it.

well lets say i go out on a date and had fun on a sat. i like him to call (and they usually do) on weds or Thurs.
most guys wait to call till later cus they dont want to seem desperate
lol i had about 7 guys tell me (after we had gotten to know each other) that they wanted to call me so bad the next day but they didn't want to seem clingy
and ya know i was thinkin the same thing but i never called so and the guys had to chase after me and they love that so dont worry about clam down if he doesn't like you he wont call and if he does he will call you in a day or two
but what ever you do dont call him it seems way to clingy

Text him and say your board and ask does he wanna come watch a movie girl it is not the 1800's anymore you dont have to wait for him to call you you call him if he dont wanna talk to you you will be able to tell

Minimum of 3 days to call back. Then it can go for up to 10 days I would say. If you have not heard back in 10 days he is gone. BUt he cannot call before 3 days or he will seem desperate. Go see the movie "Swingers" to fully understand.

maybe and am sayin maybe he has being taken by some1 else but just incase and somet you should do is contact him and keep sayin u need to tell him something so it will make him call you.Always keep in contact with him if you really love him,do this and hopefuly he will stay wid u.Good Luck!
