I'm a pharamacist in Canada, so I can answer the Canadian part to this question......pharmacists are in demand. There are lots of jobs and the pay is great!

Try searching pharmacist on www.stats.bls.gov This is the US board of labor statistics. They can provide you with job outlooks, and the expected potential for job growth in your field. Not sure about Canada though, try yahoo search.

There is high opportunities for pharmacists in the USA. It is a good profession to go into now.

Im not sure about Canada....but there is a great outlook for all health care workers in the United States....that job is expected to grow.

The Canadian bachelors degree is now no longer considered equivalent to the U.S. PharmD; therefore, they don't seem allowed to practice in the U.S. even with the indisputable fact that, the U.S. does furnish good job possibilities for pharmacists. the boom is large. The earnings has been increasing very much.
