My daughter is 8 months old. The other day I came home from work and she looked at me and wailed "Mama!" and stretched her arms out to me. I cried so hard!! What has your child done that just blew you away?

Anything new they do is fascinating. Especially when they are learning things that make them more independent. Hearing my 2 year old talking more all of a sudden in the past few months is really amazing. Also, the first time she ever came over to me and gave me a hug when she saw that I was upset about something.

Like the keys so you can't leave the house!! My 4 year old is into "pirates" at the moment - anything he 'finds' is quickly classified as 'treasure' No wonder my poor hubby feels like he doesn't have any control over what goes on in his house! It's a mutiny me hearties hehehehe!

children are so cute!!!
once in friend family of me happened so:
someone asked the kid where his glass (which was on the right side) was.
kid: its left
s.o: (turning left, finding no glass and trying to make child say "right"): left???
kid: (bit angry): not this left, another left (meaning right)

i found it cute, actually they do so many cute adorable things that u cant remember them all. Just looking on a baby is fascinating.

Right now its just the smile he gives me when I first get home from work. He's only 4 months though. I can't wait until I get to hear "i love u". I know I will just melt.

When my daughter was 9 months old she said her first word. It was "D". I was saying tha alphabet to her and after I said "C" she yelled "D". Now that she's 16 months old she also says "M" after I say "L". Her second word was "what". She would walk over to the wall and bang her hand against it and say "what, what what" When I told her she'd go to the couch and say "what what what".

I was sick a couple of weeks ago and was laying on the couch trying to rest and my little boy, 3 years old, brought me his pillow and his blankie (which he is VERY attached to and doesn't let anyone even touch them) and he covered me up and kissed my cheek and said "I love you momma"

flooded my bathroom, threw all the contents of the refrigerator on the living room floor, bangs his head into hard surfaces, dumps drinks on his brothers head, oh the list goes on, and yes there is major parental supervision in the home, he does this within a minute of my backbeing turned, he isnt like this anymore, he is adhd and has done some crazy stuff, but he is the most loving funniest kid around
