i cant see an Islamic state forming as such, but definatly a larger community of Islamic followers. I dont think the army will be involved at all, but i think the public will take matters in to their own hands, if you catch my drift.

It's pretty pathetic if the British allow any non British people take over and make their own state. Nobody should take over anywhere. The army need not be involved. Look at what's happening now. This country is Church of England or Christian, but just the other day the Thames was being used as the Ganges.

In response to ADAM M's reply, Yes the British public WILL take matters into their own hands, Muslims do NOT belong here and we the British public should do something about it because the government wont. Until someone does something about them being here then they will continue to take our systems and our lives for granted. What if there was another attack on one of the cities caused by so called British Muslim terrorists on the scale of 9/11... doing something about it then would be too late... for many.
It makes my blood boil to know that there are inexcess of a million Muslims living in this country most of whom are here illegally and has the British taxpayer clothe,feed and water them and put a roof over their heads, just so they can terrorize us (never bite the hand that feeds you)
Personally id wrap each and every single Muslim in a pig skin and bury them upside down 6ft under.
If an Islamic state begins then it would not last long thats for sure.

Not yet. People are still hoping to resolve this peacefully or that the problem will go away. When it is clear that it won't I am afraid that there will be blood in the streets all over the world.

If you want to worry about the future, look a little further than your nose.
China will be the next world superpower. Thet have been sitting in the wings getting stronger and stronger. They are going through their own industrial revolution at the moment. Within a few years, they will rule the world through economics.
There will come a day when the Chinese consumer will be complaining that when he phones his bank, he is put through to a call centre in Scotland....and get this, they don'e speak Mandarin or Canton in Scotland.

I think there would be a few people who would have a thing or two to say about that, historically the British when forced into a corner will fight, if you look at the problems we have when abroad or on a Saturday night in most cities and towns....
My advice to the Muslims is to carry on being peaceful neighbours and colleagues, and if you wish to live in an Islamic state please go and live in one, but don't enforce a change on a people who have welcomed you in the main to our country.
I for one will not be shackled to a religion I don't believe in.....

Frankly, I don't see it happening.
The English have always been fighters....and when you back an angry animal against a corner, well...I'm sure you get my point.
The world is awake to these problems (finally), and the obvious cancer-esque spread of extremism is in the public eye so much that it will be nipped in the bud.
The English aren't soft, they've never been soft.

JD417 is spot on!
There's more likely to be civil war started by "minority whites" that the government allowing the military to do anything.
If the government get in NOW and enforce all "hatred laws" in both directions (prosecute muslim fundamentalists as well as christian vicars who hand out anti gay leaflets) then we may stop all this from happening.

impossible for this to happen. we are a democracy, islamic people make up only 3 % of the population. even with widescale electoral fraud the people of other faiths and no faiths will ensure that it does not happen.
