It all depends on your skin tone ( trust me i've had black, brown, red and blonde hair :S!) Choose something that doesn't make your skin color look washed out, such as if you had really pale skin it probably is not a good idea to go jett black! go with a neutral color (stay on the safe side, something that's not a major change). Your hair color sounds like it's pretty light now, I would go with a hunny brown

Brown is in the red family so I think if you choose a shade that compliments your skins tone, it would look very nice. They have those wigs kiosks in the malls....go and try them on and you will know if you like it or not before permanently changing your color OR get a temporary wash in color at Wal-mart it will fade out and won't be permanent. Dark brown hair looks really good on just about everyone. I have dark brown hair but I have to maintain my tan to make it work. It just looks better. Darker hair usually makes your skin a little paler looking so you have to keep some color!

well doll, since you have multiple color in your hair, dark brown might big a big change and not what you want. maybe you should do a dark brown with honey highlights or a lighter tone. then if you lyke it then you can always go al the way dark brown next tyme!

I think that color would look really good on you, since you already have the toned down brown to your look. It'll also be good to get your hair that color so that you won't have so much warmness to your hair (reds or oranges).

Why not try a semi-permanent hair color first to see if you like it or not. They usually wash out in about 24 shampoos. I like Clairol Natural Instincts, it's really gentle on your hair.
