I called her a couple days later and it was bad timing because she was at work, but she did ask me to call her the next day when I got out of work, which I did. Got her machine, left her a message quickly saying hi and basically asked her if she wanted to do something this weekend and left her my number.

I figure if I put the ball in her court, I'll know if she's interested or not and this was last nigh and I haven't heard from her.

Move on? Was this the right thing to do?

Don't over think it. Don't worry if she doesn't call you back this time. Sometimes girls don't like to respond for fear of seeming too forward. But she gave you her # (right?) so there is some interest there.

Call her again next week and try again if this weekend doesn't' work out. If she really isn't interested she will give you a sign, and remember that not everybody is compatible so its no big deal. After a few tries, it doesn't hurt to just ask her if she would prefer not to go out. Always go to know where you stand.

Good Luck

Even though you haven't heard from her yet I wouldn't write her off just yet. Remember, the weekend consists of Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. She could call at any of these times during weekend to make plans. If she happens to not call this weekend then I'd give her one more call like Tuesday of next week when you know she's out of work to see if you can set something up then. If that doesn't work...time to move on!

I might make a second attempt, on the off chance that her answering machine ate your message. If she's just not interested, that might make her feel a little like she's being stalked, but there's no real harm done, as long as you don't do it repeatedly. In fact, you might assure her that you won't make another attempt, if she doesn't respond this time.

I think your on the right track...just give her time to call. If she doesn't call by the end of the weekend she prob isn't interested..or really busy. But if she liked you and was busy she would prob call either way.

Give her a couple of days to call you back, she may have already had plans for this weekend!

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T CALL HER AGAIN! if she is interested she'll call you. Don't waste your time worrying about it. In addition, dude its been one night. who cares anyway. go out with you friends and have some fun partying, you prolly will meet other girls as well. take down there numbers too and start filling your schedule up.

just wait. and if you really cant wait any longer,
why not you just call her back and jokingly ask why or
something? if the excuse she gives is some lame ones, then
maybe it's a sign for you to just back off, i guess. hehe.
whatever it is, always follow your instinct. they tell you the best
answers.
all the best! :)
